Abstract
 
In the 21st century, it is the age of Internet, while e-commerce is developing rapidly. Many fields are influenced by e-commerce, and among them, international trade is affected most. E-commerce could effectively utilize limited material resources, while reducing driving vertical empty, overstocking merchandise, and marketing wrong etc., which can shorten the business cycle, save time, lower the cost, therefore they are widely accepted.
This paper researches both theory and practice. Based on the international trade and e-commerce theory, and integrating theory with practice, this paper comprehensively and systematically discusses how the international e-commerce enhance our country's competitive advantage. 
Because our country is still at the primary stage of e-commerce, there are many problems to be solved. Aiming at the problems, this paper proposes some advice to accelerate developmental process of the international e-commerce.

摘要
 
21世纪,是互联网的时代,随之而来的就是电子商务的迅速发展。许多领域都受到其影响,其中,国际贸易领域是受影响最深,冲击最明显的领域。电子商务能够有效地利用有限的物质资源,做到减少车辆空驶、货物积压以及产销不对路等问题,因此可以达到缩短商业循环周期、节约时间、降低成本的目的,并因此受到各行各业广泛的青睐。
本论文的研究内容从理论研究并结合实践探析两个方面进行。论文以国际贸易和电子商务的理论知识为基础,综合运用理论与实践相结合的方法,全面系统地讨论了国际电子商务对提高我国贸易竞争优势的影响。
由于我国还处于电子商务初级尝试阶段,电子商务发展中还存在很多需要解决的问题。本文针对存在的问题提出了加速中国国际电子商务发展进程的初步措施和办法。

1. Introduction
 
 With the development of the economy, economic globalization has become the national direction of economic development. In 21st century, technology develops as fast as economy does, and it have shown a new mode of economic operation--e-commerce. As a new business model, e-commerce shows strong vitality, and it is promoting international trade more efficiently. Scale and scope of e-commerce are expanding dramatically, and the effects constantly spread to all areas of industry and social dimensions. Internet is changing the world, and the area of international trade is deeply affected.
 
2. E-commerce Overview
 
21st century is the era of the Internet, and in our life many changes have taken place. The change involved the wide range that we can see. Families, schools, enterprises, Government, and even our entertainment activities have some degrees of change, and one of the most important changes is the transformation of business model. E-commerce becomes a new business model and a lot of impact is brought to business areas of the world. This section introduces the e-commerce concepts, classification and function of e-commerce, international e-commerce and international trade and development of electronic commerce in China.
 
2.1 What is E-commerce?
E-commerce is a new, ongoing developing concept, and different scholars and institutions make different explanations to the e-commerce. Here are some of the most influential concepts.
The World Trade Organization (WTO) on the definition of e-commerce is that: E-commerce is through telecommunication network for the production, marketing, sales and distribution activities. It means not only transactions based on the Internet, but also all the use of electronic information technology to solve problems, reduce costs, increase value and creating business opportunity.
Definition of the General Assembly on global information society shows that: E-commerce is participating electronically instead of physical exchange between the parties, or any form of direct physical contact, to complete the business transaction. It was made in 1997 in Belgium Brussels by the General Assembly of the global information society standards.
 
5. Conclusion
 
E-commerce is a product of technology. E-commerce is beyond the boundaries of time and space, and it broke the visible or invisible barriers between the countries, which is a revolutionary change for international trade. With the help of e-commerce of international trade, many of the intermediate links are avoided, so that it saves many fees that could cost a lot in traditional trade pattern. Government of China should be positive to popularize e-commerce. The enterprises in China should improve the international competitiveness of enterprises with developing electronic commerce as a means. E-commerce is the trends of future business, and missing this opportunity of e-commerce will be detrimental to the company running smoothly into the international market.
