With the increase of uncertainties and unstable factors, their employment concepts tend to be conservative, and most of them choose full-time civil servants or public institutions to prepare for examination, leading to further reduction of employment channels.
 
2、 Employment Status of Journalism and Communication Majors
 
(1) The training of journalism and communication professionals is not well matched with the demand for jobs

Therefore, in the era of media integration, students majoring in journalism and communication must constantly enrich their professional knowledge and improve their competitiveness under the demand of communication employment, so that they can stand out in the severe employment market and promote the practical teaching level of journalism and communication in colleges and universities to reach a higher level.
 
From a micro perspective, although the training institutions of journalism and communication have found changes in the demand of the media market, they lack in-depth research and effective response, which is mainly reflected in the following three points.
 
First, the training of journalism and communication professionals did not meet the requirements of the new media era. In recent years, the positions with strong market demand are only related to the Internet and new media. The professional threshold for these positions is low, and many students of other majors are competent. The demand of graduates majoring in journalism and communication to seek "pan media employment" in the editorial posts of Party and government organs, state-owned enterprises and public institutions, news publicity and new media other than all kinds of news media has increased year by year.
 
At present, the "pan media employment" that has been recognized by the domestic and foreign journalism education circles has become an important trend for journalism and communication majors to obtain employment. Laramie Taylor, associate professor of communication at the University of California Davis, said that news educators should not only cultivate content producers, but also have the responsibility to cultivate students' media literacy, so that students can become excellent media consumers. Professor Zhang Kun of Huazhong University of Science and Technology pointed out that journalism and communication education and discipline construction are facing severe challenges. "Under the new social form and communication environment, what kind of knowledge and ability specifications can meet the needs of media talents has become the first issue that journalism departments in colleges and universities must consider". The success of Ma Ling's transformation and entrepreneurship is related to his years of experience in traditional media and the accumulation of interpersonal resources. It can be seen that under the trend of pan media employment, the main body of the market is not professional talents, but composite talents.

(2) The employment guidance in colleges and universities lacks effective support measures, and the professionalism needs to be improved
 
In recent years, the initial employment rate of graduates is an important evaluation indicator in the discipline evaluation, the inspection of the promotion of employment work in colleges and universities, and the evaluation of teaching quality. Therefore, some colleges and universities carry out employment guidance only to improve the employment rate and obtain good evaluation in the discipline evaluation, which does not really help students. Although most colleges and universities have set up employment guidance departments at present, the employment guidance departments only focus on the students who are about to graduate. They lack guidance for students in the whole process of employment, lack guidance for career planning of junior students, and even if there is guidance, the content is relatively narrow, ignoring the cultivation of students' employment concept and thinking.
 
Third, the employment work is only promoted by the employment guidance center, which has not formed a joint force in all functional departments of the university. The education, human resources, social security and other functional departments manage the employment of college graduates by sections and regions, which makes it difficult to effectively integrate employment funds, employment services and other resources, resulting in a waste of resources, and can not let graduates really enjoy some preferential policies.
 
(3) The structural contradiction of employment is prominent, and the quality of employment is not high
 
At present, there are serious structural contradictions in the employment of journalism and communication majors, which are mainly reflected in the following three aspects.
 
First, the contradiction between the supply of human resources and the demand for jobs. On the whole, although there are many jobs, the market supply and demand match is not high. In most regions and enterprises, there has been a shortage of skilled workers, skilled workers and new-type talents. Third, the imbalance between the central and western regions of graduate employment units. At present, China is changing from the era of total population dividend to the era of structural talent dividend. The number of people aged 15-64 who are working age has reached its peak in 2011.
