ABSTRACT: With the development of society and the progress of science and technology, our country's construction industry is also in the process of rapid development. At present, the steel structure in civil engineering construction in many countries has been at a very developed level, but the steel structure in civil engineering construction in our country is at a very low level, which has also attracted the attention of most architects in our country to a certain extent. This paper will proceed from the advantages of steel structure technology in civil engineering construction, further analyze the existing problems of steel structure in civil engineering at present in our country, and then summarize the effective countermeasures in the construction process.

1 Preface


In recent years, the social and economic level of our country is gradually improving, which provides a good opportunity for the development of steel structure in our country's construction industry. Under the current level of economic development, our country's construction projects have made great progress, and the use of steel structures in construction projects is becoming more and more frequent. However, most of the steel structure development technology in our country still has some defects in the use of civil engineering technology, which will affect the progress of civil engineering construction to a certain extent.


2. Advantages of steel structure technology application in civil engineering construction


2.1 Can Improve the Compression Resistance of Buildings


Because the steel structure in construction engineering is a kind of structure composed of different forms of steel bars, the steel bars system produced in this way has a certain safety factor. The most important characteristic of the steel bar in the middle steel structure of buildings is that it has a certain compressive capacity. 4. The countermeasures for the present situation of steel structure technology


4.1 Strict Management Mechanism of Construction Team


Generally speaking, in the process of civil engineering construction, safety accidents often occur because of bad management mechanism in some construction projects, which will not only bring property losses to construction units, but also threaten the lives of construction personnel to a certain extent. Therefore, construction units should establish effective supervision and management system according to their own characteristics, and strictly supervise the construction process to effectively reduce the occurrence of safety accidents. Moreover, the propaganda of safety construction knowledge in the knowledge of laws and regulations should be carried out within the construction units, and the construction safety system should be constantly improved.


4.2 Building Materials with Good Selectivity


Safety factor is an important purpose of the whole construction project, so in order to better protect the safety of the construction process, construction units should choose good quality building materials for construction. We should not take unrealistic actions to save costs and gain benefits.


4.3 Developing safety education and training activities


In many civil engineering construction process, most of the construction workers lack certain safety awareness due to their low educational level, and because they know little about safety knowledge, so safety accidents occur. To effectively reduce the efficiency of safety accidents in the construction process, we should actively attach importance to safety education, organize regular safety training and education for employees, so as to ensure the application effect of steel structure in civil construction in the future.


5 Conclusion


In summary, in the wave of economic development, civil engineering and construction industry is also in the wind and water, steel structure in civil engineering is also more and more used. The concrete used in the traditional construction industry and gradually replaced by reinforcing steel, the scope of reinforcing steel is more and more widely used. However, there are still some problems in the use of steel structure in civil engineering at present. After the discussion in this paper, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward: strict management mechanism of construction team, selection of building materials with better performance, and carrying out safety education and training activities.
